IPL
We’re all born with a luminous even complexion, but as we age a variety of conditions can impact the look of our skin.
What is IPL?
Age and sun spots, acne, pigmentation, and broken capillaries can leave us turning to makeup and photo filters for an even, lit-from-within glow. IPL (intense pulse light) treatments can address skin concerns such as sun damage, acne, pigment & vascular lesions, while at the same time boosting production of skin-firming proteins like collagen and elastin. Results include visible improvement in skin tone & texture, even complexion and a youthful healthy glow.
How does it work?
IPL WORKS BELOW THE SURFACE
IPL technology delivers photo rejuvenation and energy at different wavelengths to address numerous aesthetic and dermatology needs. The depth of penetration varies according to the wavelength. The longer the wavelength, the greater the penetration depth.

What to expect
During IPL treatment, the pulses may cause a snapping sensation & warmth but are typically very well tolerated. Following your treatment, brown spots will darken and skin may appear red for 3-24 hours. Your improved complexion should be visible 1-3 weeks post treatment. Best results typically require a series of 3 to 5 appointments, spaced 1 month apart.
